Rpg maker 2000 dbz game4/3/2023 I ended up modding my ps1 and acquiring a burnt disc from a friend of a friend to get it. I was willing to give my left nut to get a copy. I remember, at the time being enamored with “GT” Final Bout. Butoden 2 was pretty ambitious from a storytelling standpoint in a fighting game then they went ahead and dropped that component completely for Butoden 3. There was a super famicom RPG, the legend of Goku (there were two volumes) that looked nice and played decently as well but on the whole the games simply couldn’t bring the vision to life. It looks cool to play out, I think, but you can generally totally just cheese the thing because you have a super attack which beats everything except the counter-super which loses to everything else. You can attack at any time or power up instead, and each one of your buttons corresponds to a type of attack that beats another. The second Super Gokuden starts from Piccolo Jr. I think it's more RPG-ish, where the two fighters approach the center of the screen and can only attack when they reach there. The original Super Gokuden follows from Goku meeting Bulma for the first time to King Piccolo. You get bonuses for recreating the manga. Then you fight using moves that you've unlocked and set to your face buttons. It's a little weird - it's not quite an RPG, but more like a visual novel / manga quiz between the fights. I think the Super Gokuden series is interesting too, it seems like it flies under the radar even for people who played the Japanese exclusives.
